The CTPA defines a minor as anyone under the age of 18 as described in Cascadian Law. Specific television ratings have been created for those who are minors. Any television station marked as for "Kids" in their CTPA registration is only allowed to transmit content rated 8+ or for general audiences. Content rated 14+ can only be transmitted after a warning informing the viewers of what the content may contain that gave it that rating. This warning is not required after 9:00 PM local time. Any content rated 18+ must have a warning before it, and can only be transmitted between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM local time.
For any content rated 8+ or above the content's official rating as marked by the CTPA must be shown on the transmission. The approved places for this rating are either in the top left, top right, or bottom right, and must be clearly visible to the audience. If the piece of content was created in Cascadia, and is being placed on a registered CTPA channel's social media profile, the thumbnail must include the content's rating.
